Well that was a hard run, couldn’t get my stride or pace right for the first 2k totally plodding along but push on and did 5k, a very slow 5k (52 minutes) but did it, wanted to try my extended plod round the village to see if it was any good for after graduation as I’m aiming on 2-3 5k run a week. Pleased I managed to do it, breathing felt good and felt I could go for longer, just need to sort out my pace and stride but sure that will come 😀

So you are not doing C25K then?
Take care.
Yes I am, but the running group I’m with seem to be doing it by distance now rather than time, we have a 5k run scheduled for Friday and I like to have a little go before the group to give me the confidence I can do it in the group ( weird anxiety thing I have)
Almost doubling your running duration is not wise, especially for new runners and breaches the 10% rule normally used by experienced runners to increase their training load.
As I said, take care.
Sounds a bit hard for week 8. Can you drop out and walk home when you reach the end of your C25k run? That's what I used to do. Just let them know in advance so they don't think they've lost you!
It’s a C25K group they just seem to be focusing on distance now rather than the time, I just plod along at my own pace
