Just start your music on your phone as you would normally then start c25k app , both app run along side each other no problem 😊

Hello and welcome! Great decision!

If you have music downloaded to your phone already, just start it going then start the C25k App, the music will go quiet when your running coach is speaking. Alternatively you could download the C25k podcast instead which has its own music

Do you have to pay for the C25K app? Regards J

I used Spotify or BBC sounds alongside the app, and had FitBit tracking running too and it all worked well together 👍

I have my Fitbit on at all times so progress is always recorded. Thanks for the advice

Welcome and well done on getting started. And you're right, definitely need music!

I've used the C25K app along with my own music which is great. I especially like the irony of having comedian Sarah Millican 'training' me. However, I've found the app to crash a couple of times and it took me a little while before I realised.

I prefer the podcast option. The music is a little generic but the change in tempo for the run compared to the walking sections really is quite helpful and motivating.

It's all down to personal choice. Have a play with both and see what works best for you.

Good luck getting to 5K
