Took the Panic Moth for some exercise

The Black Dog is backing off at last but the Panic Moth is taking over. Took it out for a run in the park. It was hard work but I coaxed myself through, 5 minutes at a time 😄 The photo is of Wimborne Corner, with the Pickles Nursery behind: over the bridge and left for Setters Way and Shelley’s Point; right for the AlMorr Loop.

Thanks Molly. Between the calf muscles, the panic and the Voices, I’m quite chuffed to have got round today 😄

Hi Buttercup..wow that really is so pretty from where I run on suburban roads! I'm so glad you are still enjoying running and hey...a panic moth is lighter than a black dog. well done you for pushing on through! :)x

Thanks CCM. Yes, this is the perfect place for a novice runner ! The moth is lighter than the dog but far more irritating 😂

Such a pretty spot to squash that moth. Way to keep going; 5 minutes at a time is a great way to work through the struggles. Mini goals ➡️mini achievements ➡️Big Goal ✅

Thanks SAcat. I really thought I was going to give up at the halfway bell. Thank goodness for Little Miss Stubborn 😄

Shudder! I really don’t like moths 😩. Glad you managed to get through your run, breaking it down into smaller chunks is a great idea. I wish I had suc lovely places to run in, the ‘nature reserve’ I run in is slowly being taken over by diggers building 4,000 houses so I’ll need to find another spot soon 😕

Noooo ! That’s terrible ! Hope you find somewhere lovely to run. I don’t actually mind moths (or dogs) but I needed a metaphor that described the horrible fluttering sensation I get with clinical anxiety, and moth seemed to hit it 😄

To be fair it’s not a proper nature reserve, just some reclaimed open cast mining land that’s been grass over n a couple of ponds added. I could run around the Dyke at the other side of the river but it’s a 10 minute walk by road n I don’t really want to knacker my trail shoes walking to n fro. I’m hoping they keep the path I run on, then I can cross the bridge to the Dyke n avoid the road

I completely get the moth description, it’s very apt. I’ve had anxiety for a couple of years (I think it’s perimenopause-related) so I know understand the feeling you describe. I discovered that CBD oil really helps though so mine only bothers me occasionally in the middle of the night now n even then it’s only mild 😊

Glad you enjoyed your run today with the Black Dog and Panic Moth ButtercupKid, nice photo, so the dog is backing off, that is good news, however, with the moth taking over you will have to try and gradually swipe it down with something.

Plenty of fresh air and exercise - that’s the plan 😄

Good to hear you’re still shining along the ‘Buttercupkid Way’, despite the occasional moth attracted by your light ... Keep on, Buttercup! 👍🏻😊🐞

I wouldn't recommend pesticides, but a good swat, with strategic timing may did you of that annoying insect.

It will get tired in time...........

Yeah, not a great idea to use fly spray on an internal moth 😂 Planning to keep it very busy instead 😀

Don’t worry about that moth... the birds will be home soon and one of them will eat it!

Well done again.
