Went into it with an open mind, not sure what to expect. Took it slow n had enough energy to speed up on the last run section surprisingly. Pretty pleased with the 1.7 miles I covered considering I was going slow. Feeling much more like a runner now πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
W4R1 completed! πππ: Went into it with an... - Couch to 5K
W4R1 completed! πππ
Excellent work ! 1.7 is still more or less my usual even now, so Iβm well impressed π
Thanks! I was a bit shocked tbh as I hadnβt done anywhere near that since the end of W2 n I think that was just cos I was walking very briskly. Iβve been making sure I go really slow for the first run of a new week so was gobsmacked when I saw the distance π.
How are you finding graduation? X
Only had one run so far - massively busy just now. I was dreading it but it went ok. Hoping to get out again tomorrow π
Well done ! You must be feeling great right now
Well done! I think itβs a good plan to keep it slow so as to know you can do it and now that Iβm the longer runs, I do them slow a couple of times and try and run the 3 a bit faster but sometimes not because I dont fancy it
Thanks! Thatβs pretty much what Iβve been doing. I made the mistake of doing W2R1 faster n it got hard towards the end so I figure if I go slow on the first one of the week n still have energy to spare I can go a little bit faster next time. If Iβve no energy to spare I go slow again
Iβm on week 8 now and from 1 till now Iβve been actively slowing myself down and itβs helped me run for the longer times r3 in 5 and 6. In any case running slowly is just as good for you. I only speed up at the end when I know I can finish if that makes sense! Enjoy the rest of the week!
