Just finished my first run. went to my local park and being very unfit makes me really worried about exercising in front of others. Nearly gave up half way through, had to have a couple minutes break but finished it 🏃

Welcome to C25K, some people say that run 1 of week 1 is the hardest, you have got off the couch, enjoy the next 9 weeks but you can repeat as many runs and weeks as you want. 😊 🏃

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Any workout that you don't fully complete is worth repeating as you are training your body not just filling in a checklist, but if you take it a bit slower next time you will be fine.

Enjoy your journey.

Welcome along ! Most people attack the first run and take it too hard and fast for their current fitness. Slow and steady is the way. Relax and enjoy your journey x

Don’t think about others - I started very unfit and overweight - no one’s looking. Just learn to run slowly - if you search ‘Japanese slow jogging movement’ on youtube you’ll find a short film that shows you how to run slowly and without injury. This programme is a minor miracle and you’ll be amazed at what you can do. So stick at it, ignore the others and do this for you, your health and added bonus it makes you feel so good. I’d suggest measuring yourself - as you do lose inches as you tone. Good luck and share the journey with us!
