I’m due to do run 3 of week 5 today. I’m dreading it but I’m also worried as I’m still sore after the last run. Would you wait another day or just go for it??

It is not wise to dread a run or even use the words...........it is actually a glorious, empowering run.

Try this for size healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Do you stretch after every run, as advised in the guide to the plan? It can prevent you being sore after runs.

If you are really are uncomfortable an extra rest day may be helpful.

POSITIVE...........

Apart from the day I completed wk9r3 ..wk5r3 was the best feeling ever when you realise what you can really achieve you really feel like a runner . As for your soreness it's up to you take another rest day if needed good luck

Excellent ⭐️ Slow and steady is always the way, and the triumph of getting through 5:3 really sets you up for the next four weeks. Enjoy !
