It's not called a dreadmill for nothing here on C25K, but would it not better if Jazio tried a few short sessions on one before buying one, there have been a few people who have completed the whole program on a treadmill and loved them

Hey! That doesn't answer the OP's questions and isn't very constructive advice - I know many hate them but they are an important part of the running landscape.

Yeah me too. Save your money and run outside. Treadmills suck.

NO they don't. They're VERY useful.

I love my treadmill! But people are very anti them on here. Anyway I have the Reebok One GT40S. I bought it from Argos. Check out the reviews. I thoroughly recommend it and it's changed my life. Go for it!

Personally I just prefer running outside. I get to experience the seasons, the warmth and the cold, the rain and the sun, the wind and the calm, the hills, up and down. And best of all it’s free, no gym membership and no big spend.

I would find it very hard to run on a treadmill now. I try sometimes if I am staying in a hotel with work and use the gym, but I just get bored after 10 mins. I know if I was to buy one I would never use it.

But I agree, some people prefer running on a treadmill inside, and that’s fine too. Exercise is exercise.

But I do think it is harder to run outside, and people who are used to treadmill running find it difficult to move to outdoor running sometimes.

I do both - outside and in. Treadmills are incredibly useful for all sorts of reasons.

I can't recommend a specific model, but I wish you luck in finding one!

"Hi All,

Thinking of running outdoors after doing C25K on a treadmill. Can anyone recommend some running routes in my area? I'm in L*******.

Thanks"

> "Hey John

Forget it. I HATE running outdoors. It's harder. There's air pollution, risk of death, getting wet, cold, sunburnt, people looking at you, judging etc etc. Stick to the treadmill!" <
