10 years ago i was an avid runner but i was struck down with glandular fever and it subsequently turned into Chronic Fatique. I am feeling much better now but i still have periods of relapse. Can anyone relate to this and has tried doing couch to 5k? the only exercise i do is yoga but i really miss the buzz of running.
TIA.

I had glandular fever after a chronic bout of tonsilitis I lost loads of weight and it took me about six months to get back to normal Once you feel like eating again, and you can do so healthily, then things will start to get better. Well they did for me. It was long time ago though. I believe that we can eat ourselves well
I don’t have any experience of this but as you already have to do, it’s listening to your body. You could do each week twice, or learn to run very slowly. Search Japanese slow jogging movement on youtube and there’s a film showing you how to run without injury. Maybe something like that could work? That’s how I’m running (I’m 53 and hadn’t run since school) so getting fit without injury has been a priority for me.
