Week 6 Run one... hmmm

Ok, so the good news is that I did it but I think it was just one of those runs that didn't go well. I travel around a lot for work so had to use a treadmill in a busy gym and was later in the evening than I'd like to run because of a long drive. So tired, hungry and feeling a bit rushed, I headed to the gym. The rhythm was good, my pace is still slow but steady but my calves felt tight and didn't really get comfortable. Any tips on helping my calves hurt less. It might just have been the circumstances but would like to do this without the pain. Other than that it was fab and still felt good to finish :-)

Great job on the run.

Listening to the travelling, busy day, late start, and hunger bits... my prime suspect for the calf tightness (especially as it was both) would be hydration wasn’t good.

Hopefully you can enjoy the next one pain free.
