Week 7: Mini Crisis

So, all going smoothly, sun through the mist over the fields, nearly finished and not gasping, and then .... Realise I have dropped my beloved hat! Oh no! Irreplaceable Oxfam treasure! So as Laura says Five minutes to go, I reverse direction and trundle back over the route!

My regular observer was surprised to see me return: see photo.

The good news - I found it! In a puddle, but still ok. 😊 More good news - didn’t even notice when Laura said stop running; just gradually realised she was talking about warm down and glass of water. 😄 Of course, the hat was nearly at the furthest point of the run, so I had a really long warm down today. Will now find a top with a pocket. Learning more, every day....
