Yoga
Yoga and Pilates are very good for recovery!
Pilate’s twice a week - life changing
Yes, I do Pilates - good for core strength and yoga, which I’ve found very helpful with breathing technique
Yoga is great on a rest day... or even after a run. I do the odd session of it as there’s some on my training plan.
Yoga is great but doesn't replace a good stretching regime immediately after a run.
Straight after the run i'm using the knee exercises on the NHS site. I am doing yoga on rest days - not too tiring and all about support/recovery.
I do the nhs stretches and then add some yoga: down dog, forward fold, pigeon which for me is essential, and then a few lower back stretches. I also go to yoga classes.
Love yoga 🧘♀️. I use Tamal dodge dvd at home
I finish my runs quite a way from home. By the time I’ve walked back home i’m Stretched and recovered Hot Bath is ace!
