I did it... Made a start. I am so happy. Two more sessions for this week. I heard it is good to rest one day before doing the next session. How do people feel, especially you have just started out?

Great... So you and I can check in on each other. Was challenging for me... I felt so heavy but am doing it.

Well done. I've just done w2r1 today and today was the first time I really enjoyed it. I couldn't believe running 1 minute 8 times was so knackering! From all the posts I've read a rest day is pretty important. I've also picked up to take it slowly and that made a difference too.

Rest is essential... rest is bad!

For “rest day” read “non-running day” and then it’s essential for muscle repair and development. Find another activity for tomorrow... go for a walk, cycle, swim, do some strengthening work, yoga, Pilates... anything apart from running, high impact sport or high intensity lower body work. Keep those legs loose and they will thank you on the next run.

Great job on run one... enjoy your journey.

I found my thighs were achey the day after W1R1 even though I did stretches after the run, but I went for a walk nonetheless. They were still achey the next day (yesterday) but I still did R2 n amazingly after a few minutes they felt better n have been fine today. I’m feeling good in myself, I already feel fitter though I’m not sure if that’s all in my head lol
