Smile the miles away !!

Hi guys !! Just completed our W4R3 with great satisfaction .I tried so hard to look like I was not enjoying my self but failed miserably ,I just had to grin and bare it !! Feel good factor is high ,very high,so am very much aware that the goals and structure built in to each weeks schedule ,when achieved, add to the feeling of accomplishment and motivate us to reach out for the next attainable goal. When we graduate as a couple, I feel that structure within our running program along with goal setting is a must if we are not to rest on our laurels and continue to head on up to that 10k in Birmingham come May !! Have just started using an app, running simultaneously with our C25K podcast, just keeping a sneaky eye on the distance we are covering at present .Today was managed 1.61 miles in 29.11mins, including 5 minute warm up walk but not the final warm down walk .Not fast by any means but we are getting there .No self induced pressure here just a point of reference for the future as we build up distance and (may be) reduce our average times per kilometer /mile over time !!

Congratulations to you both for getting week 4 under the belt! Shall we go back to week 1 now or start week 5? .... Maybe I'll come and join you for that 10km in May!
