Just completed Wk3 R1 and it was... OK!! I’m not covering as much distance as earlier though, maybe because I’ve slowed my running down to keep going! Anyway I’m really pleased with progress and will keep going! Anyone else over 50 and wondering if you can do it, you most definitely can! 😃👍

Nice one! I’m a new runner of 53. A wee bit behind you and I’m taking at very, very slowly. Not sure that my running is as fast as my walking.

Well done Biddy keep up the good work 👍. Slower definitely seems to be best at this stage anyway, says me sitting here with sore knees this morning after going too fast last night in finishing week 2 🙄

Over the hill but determined to get fit, I am 55 and on wk 7/2, loving it (well sometimes). Slower than a snail, but got some nods and thumbs up today on my run from the other runners, so feel I must look like I am running/jogging/fast walking at least one of those. I would say to anyone give it a go.

Well done you - I am also 55 and have just done week 9r3 - feeling fantastic! Also feel I have been going a snails pace but somehow run three today was faster - fit snail! Enjoy

Wow Wk 9 - that’s amazing! You must feel fitter and healthier. I’m hoping to lose a bit of weight but am so enjoying already feeling healthier.

Loads of over 50s, 60s, 70s. Not sure about 80’s, but perhaps if there is they will shout up 🙂

If you do the sessions slowly enough you’ll get round ok. As you keep going you get fitter 🙂

Hi I'm 68 and on wk3 will do r3 tomorrow. I am going slowly but yesterday I did pass someone walking their dog! Lol and another runner was encouraging. Determined to do a 5k.
