Strava vs Nike run club
I use strava but only because it's what my run club uses. Still getting to grips with it tho.
Runkeeper........
......... because you can programme intervals.
Strava has tons of stats and sharing, and tracks cycling.
Nike has guided runs and free running plans.
Other than that the free version of Strava and NRC do mostly the same.
If you have a running watch itβs possible to use both.
I use both. I've used NRC since graduating c25k and started on Strava at the beginning of the year, to track my total for the year. I couldn't face resetting my total km run on NRC to zero!
NRC seems to be more accurate for distance, my runs on Strava are always slightly shorter for some reason! Both have similar features and stats. I like that NRC gives you a commentary as you run telling you when you have run another km and your time and average pace. I find it a good motivator. There are also lots of guided runs on NRC. I've tried a few, but they are not for me.
Just throwing this in the mix.... I use map my run, although I have it on silent and just run until I've had enough (which isn't very far at the moment!)
I do have the Nike app download but don't tend to use it as much... No reason for this.
