It will get easier. I started at the end of October and completed W9R1 today. Just follow C25K it’s brilliant and this forum too. I got my sister in law on it. She started last week and is enjoying it too. Good luck 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

I'm a bit older than you and had aching shins and calfs throughout. One day I realised they'd stopped. When I push the distance or speed up a notch back they come.

Great job. Some aches and pains are to be expected, they get better! Running gets easier, but the plan stays challenging as the duration increases... this is to push your fitness up fast. You can do this, enjoy the journey.

It does get easier! Make sure to take it easy though, don’t run if you’re in pain. Good luck with the rest of the plan! 🏃‍♂️
