I don’t think Sports Direct are well respected for analysis...I would go to a specialist running shop, you will get advice there from a proper hoomin being who knows what they are talking about. 😁 Depending on what your foot issues are, you can also get special insoles made for normal shoes, I have heard. Also, if by flat feet you mean dropped insteps, there are exercises you can do to improve that! All is not lost. 👍
And “dropped insteps” is not a thing. I think I made that up. I meant, of course, fallen arches. Doh. I hope you can find a proper running shop - they are everywhere these days so you should be able to Google find one. Unless you live on Craggy Island or somewhere very remote. 😂
Definitely recommend a proper gait analysis and at an independent store if you can find one.....if you don’t buy shoes at the time some stores charge for the analysis, - this is reasonable as the person would have spent a good deal of time with you and allowed you to try several different pairs......but once you know the type/make of shoe you prefer you can have fun hunting on t’internet for cheaper ones - e.g last seasons model.....
Good luck, hope you find something that suits, oh and happy birthday- fab idea to treat yourself to running shoes! 🏃♀️😎🍾🧁💐
Faaanks everyone I'm about to go do my first 28 minute run now then go to an actual shoe shop. It might sound like the wrong way round but I've decided I'm gunna take my time buying the perfect running Slippers! 🏃
