I did it! 🎓🏃🏻‍♀️

I managed to do week 9 before Christmas completing W9 R3 on 13 December!

I’m so proud to have done this and I’ve done a few runs since but really want to get the discipline back that I had for for the nine weeks when following the app. I’m going on holidays on 20 January and am worried that all the Fitness I’ve gained will be lost. I’ve done this before with dieting, losing weight and then putting it back on.

How have others sustained the momentum after week 9?

Congratulations Jinkstrixy on graduating, you should have told the administrators, that is why the word GRADUATE 🎓 is not on the right side of your username.

Don't worry too much about losing fitness, you can still do some runs or exercises while you are on holiday.

To get your graduation badge and the word GRADUATE 🎓 next to your username leave a message on the January graduate post in the pinned posts on the right side of the healthunlocked C25K home page and tell the administrators that you have ran W9R3 of C25K 🎓 🏃 😊

Congratulations! I hope you celebrated well and enjoyed the festivities.

As for your holiday, ideally you wouldn’t take more than two weeks off running, so I’d be looking at taking my running kit and aiming to do a run a week while away.

As for the future, I set goals. Maybe you’d like to go to 10k, maybe you’d like to book a 5k event and then follow a plan to train for it? I find having a plan to a goal in front of me really helps with the motivation.

Happy running.

Thank you, I will take the kit. I still can’t quite believe that I can run for 30 minutes non stop. I really want to hold onto this.
