Preparation.......

W7R2. Had planned with my other half to go out for this run at 6:30 tonight. Sitting on the sofa doing nothing and I get a text, got 45 mins, shall we go now? So I quickly got changed and out the door I went. Realised I hadn’t had any water today, only tea. Battery on phone was nearly flat and music wouldn’t play, and had no time at all to mentally prepare for this. It was hard. In a weird way I kind of enjoyed not having the music, just the sound of my feet and my breathing. I spent most of the time concentrating on trying to keep my feet nice and quiet as they hit the floor, and trying to count my steps against my breathing.

Not sure these runs are getting any easier but I keep finishing them, and that feels great 😎

Yayyy well done E! In sub-optimal conditions, too. I keep meaning to try running without music, but haven’t been quite brave enough. Interesting that you enjoyed it, might have to take the plunge...

We are really getting through this, aren’t we? One more of these and it’s the penultimate week 😳

Great job, despite the hydration, and rush to start... well done not procrastinating it. Hopefully your next one will be smoother, enjoy.

Well done! Similar experience myself tonight when hubby decided ok we could go to the gym instead of the cinema (who am I turning into????) so no preparation, just go and run. And it was one of the best yet. Still one behind you :)
