With these longer runs I’ve decided to try and run them on level ground, so I found myself running around a loch this morning. It was definitely the hardest run yet, not only because of the driving wind and rain but also because my 9 year old boy wanted to come with me. The little bugger was skipping along, trying to have a conversation with me, whilst I concentrated on not dying. Anyway, we both survived it (he gave up after 22 minutes of embarrassing me). Think I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Haha, love it. 22 minutes is impressive. My 8 year old doesn’t want to come with me because ‘You are too slow mummy and my legs are made for running fast’ 🙄
