I woke up very annoyed because the time I usually go for a run, it was thunder and lightning with a downpour about 5 minutes before I was going to go out the door so I had to delay it for a while.
Not sure if it was the humidity or being thrown off by the time but it wasn’t one of my best runs when it came to my pace or my breathing, but I really enjoyed this run overall, especially running straight after the rain has come down - was quite refreshing for the first 10 minutes with the fresh air until the humidity took over, and the seaside looked really beautiful on my route so that took my mind off things for a little while.
Heart rate has gone down by a couple BPM so body must be getting used to the time I’m running for now, and said good morning to a few runners on my way. Was really difficult for me to push my pace at the end when Sanjeev was encouraging me to this time, most likely due to the heat, but I did manage a little bit of a quicker pace.
Onwards and upwards to my next run!
