Struggled tonight! Found the extra time running quite hard and my legs are stil really painful (mainly around my shins) but glad I have done it & hoping it will get a little easier! 🏃🏽♀️

Stick with it - you’ve done the hard bit by getting to week 2! Maybe think about getting gait analysis to make sure you have the right foot wear - can help with things like sore shins and achy muscles. Other thing I’ve learnt over the course is to warm up properly and keep my legs warm otherwise I end up with pulled calf muscles.
Good running... I agree with DiverIzzie.
First step up is done though... be proud! It will get easier, don’t worry.

Another thing that can help with achy legs are post-run stretches. Check the guide from Iannodatruffe, it includes a link to some good ones! Keep going, slow and steady, you’ve got this!! 😃
