Running as a reward

It's funny that when I was at school running was used as a punishment.

Now I've actually just given myself a run as a reward for finishing some work.

Yes, things have changed a lot since we were at school, I remember having to run at PT around a 400 metre track when the temperature was -3C stripped to the waste, our teacher said, 'the faster you go, the sooner you will be out of the cold', I am not sure if I was first running around that 400 metre track, perhaps in the first 5 just to get out of the cold, we were congratulated at the end. of the run.

Recently I have seen junior school children running a sub-10-minute 3K race and a 3 minute.20-second 1K race, the children enjoy running now, they don't look it as a punishment.
