So Christmas, new year etc awesome, didn't do bad with the eating, probably bit too much prosecco, but hey it was awesome! Despite good intentions I didn't get a run in during the festivities so I've redone week 4. Started a bit tough but finished quite happy. I've peeked ahead to see what's coming 😱 not particularly relishing week 5 but I'm sure the program and my music will get me through.....its gonna have to, my hubby and I signed up for tough mudder last night 😂😂 year off fitness ahead xx
Let's get going. : So Christmas, new year etc... - Couch to 5K
Let's get going.
Is there too much when it comes to prosecco? 😂. Having a break from anything is good every now and then and running is no different, cool Yule done and back on plan is also a good indicator of commitment, no procrastination... so there’s another achievement. Tough mudder looks like lots of fun. Week 5 ain’t scary, it’s the best week of the plan... you can do it... and you’ll end it knowing you’ve got this. Enjoy.
I hit a bit of a stumbling block on week 5 run 3 and got lots of positive feedback but also the reminder that it’s not a race. I tried several times (over 3weeks) before I completed it and the final try today was at snails pace but the idea is keeping your heart rate up not going fast. So I’m glad to get it in the bag and move on and you will too. Good to have your husband involved and good luck with tough mudder.
Very well done for completing it!! I managed the first one today and while I was running thought 'what if I can't manage R3' but you're right. It's not a race, it's a personal challenge 😊 if I don't manage it the first time I will just keep trying! Thank you for your support!
