Week one. Run 2 completed. I’m still so embarrassed by my current physical shape. I was mortified when I got to the park and realised there were lots of people there. I hopped over a fence into a private rugby club and ran/walked around their pitches for 30 minutes.
Looks like the Lycra bodysuit is still a few months away!

I bet, when they saw you running, they thought they should really do some exercise themselves and admired you for getting out there. As Oldfloss says, be proud. You're doing something amazing for your health and well being and you've already take the first step in starting, the hardest IMO. Very well done.
Well done! I did my first runs in the dark and have only just got brave enough to run in the day. I am redoing week 1 because I took too long off over Christmas and New Year. I am determined I will finish though - however long it takes! Don't worry about others, you are doing something positive and great - carry on and enjoy your achievements.
I keep thinking back to something I read here a while back. Firstly, people who see you looking hot and bothered don’t know whether you have run for 30seconds or are approaching the end of a 10k, but secondly, honestly, most people don’t care! They are going about their own business and barely even notice you.
