Well today, the very last day of 2018 I graduated. It was a toughie, I was on an unfamiliar route and ended up having to go into a deep wooded track and then up the other side which was so hard only 10min into the run. I managed it though, and ended the run on a high, but the steep muddy hill I climbed slowed me down, so I didn't quite make 5k. Happy though and looking forward to 2019 seeing me go from 5k (which I did achieve on day 1 of week 9) to 10k, and who knows, maybe more?! Stick with it ladies and gents, if I can do it, you can do it. Just keep your faith in the app and in yourself and with both combined you will definitely reach your goal.

Congratulations... great way to end the year... and that 10k will come relatively soon. Have a great evening’s double celebration and enjoy the next part of your running journey.

Many thanks for the articles, I will definitely be heeding the warnings about doing too much too soon. Have signed up for the park runs and will see how I get on with those, and just consolidate what I have achieved so far. Thanks for all the support!
