Hi all. Thanks for the warm welcome. Big hugs.

Well w1r2 day. Woke up not feeling it. Got dressed, got my son out of his pit and off we went. New route by some sheep fields. Once we got going I felt ok... then alright.. pleased to say we got through it. As Ronnie Barker would say ' little victories'.

Yep, I'm quite pleased : )#

Back soon...... byeee

Me too! And I think I might have spotted an actual step that might be described as ‘running’. Mainly it’s been speed walking.

It's all going forward. That's what I've convinced myself : )

No worries at all. It’s not a race. No speed required which is why this programme is a winner

Well done, good for you! 😄

The “got my son out of his pit“ bit sounds positively miraculous - if you can do that then running will be a breeze!! 😃

Great job both of you. Little victories is a great way of thinking about it. Enjoy closing week one out.

Can't wait.. I think. If my knees don't give out!

Mine were awful... slow and steady running on soft grass has strengthened them up a treat, now pain free for the first time in 30 years... so listen to the knees and treat them with care while the strengthening process happens.
