So, 2 years ago I successfully completed C25k (hence I am a graduate), but then injured my left knee. Turns out I have some damage to the meniscus along with additional tendon problems and an incorrectly tracking kneecap (due to muscle damage) - all from one fall!! Was finally given the go-ahead by the physio back in October - got as far as week 3 before life and a viral infection got in the way
So today I restarted - hopefully this time I will not only be able to complete the program (again) but carry on running afterwards!
To all those who are making that decision to join us and start running
- believe in the program, it works
- listen to the advice given on here (and read the pinned posts - they are invaluable)
- keep at it - there is no such thing as a failed run, just an extra attempt at a certain week or run
- and keep posting on here so we can support each other
