Anyone else had problems recently with the app freezing?
This morning I noticed it had been a while since my app had spoken to me to update progress - I checked my app just out of curiosity to see how much further I had to go - 6 mins, this was great it would give me a chance to walk the 5 min cool down from the front of my estate, however reaching this point I checked again - still 1.42 remaining, I continued again, still running even though at this point I knew I’d done much more than 28 mins... I got to my house and checked once more - still counting down but on 1.42 again? - thankfully, my strava had recorded the time etc - to my surprise I’d run 3.4 miles over 45 mins (including my warm up but not the cool down... I am pleased with myself but now a bit unsure how accurate my app is 🤷🏻♀️

It is a bit annoying - motivating myself to get out in the first place is hard - it’s the first time it has happened and I’m on wk 8 so hopefully it’ll be the last..
Last week I'd DEFINITELY run for 30 mins but the app was saying I'd only done 20 minutes which was a bit annoying. The worst part is the treadmill timer, my watch, the clock on the wall of the gym, and even the clock on the Liver Building which I could see outside the window all said I'd only done 20 mins too. I hate it when technology goes wrong!
Apart from this mystery, I've never had any problems with the app with 26 other treadmill runs and one outside one, but my wife who's done all of her running outside has had it crash on her about 3 times. Maybe it has a harder time with GPS apps running at the same time etc. While I'm on the treadmill it's usually just the c25k app and a podcast app running.
Maybe C25K & strava are not compatible? It was the first time I’d used both together. I was a bit frustrated but now I just think well I know that I can do it now...
Maybe. I don't think my wife was using Strava, more likely the fitbit app or Google maps but the GPS would definitely have been running. It's good to know you can handle week 9 already though! My only advice is not to overdo it!
I use Strava and c25k together and they are generally fine but I had a couple of times at week 8 where c25k kept closing or crashing before the end. I make sure everything else is closed and set a watch timer as backup just in case!!
