Hi all I'm due to start week 5. I'm doing ok but still not particularly enjoying it. Anyway I'm due to go on holiday on new years eve. And would like to stay on track. And was wondering if anyone has run in hotter weather. Is it easier harder just interested to know?

I did a bit in Spain in September, I ran at about 8am but it was still blisteringly hot by the time I'd finished and can't say I enjoyed it that much even though it was lovely to run on the coast. I would say, go early, pay more attention to hydration ( especially also if you're drinking alcohol which will dehydrate you even more), and see how you get on. How lovely though, I could do with some winter sunshine myself: have a lovely time.

Hi. I've just got back from South Africa and found that I had to run before the sun came up. So that was about 6. When the sun comes out there it is already top temperature. That's how I coped with it. Enjoy your holiday.

I continued running through the heat in summer. Make sure you are well hydrated before you run and, as others have said, go out early before it gets too hot.
