That's amazing, congratulations! It's mind over matter indeed, and just being slow and steady. I'm not planning a sprinting race anytime soon, but do want to finish each run!
I was at an event recently where an extraordinary man called Matt King spoke. He has been totally paralysed since he was 17 after a rugby accident. However he has achieved amazing things in his life. He says it’s all about breaking tasks into small chunks. I often think of him as I aim for the next minute or tree or kilometre mark.
