Just completed my first week of consolidation. Managed 3k today in 31mins. I’ve managed to increase my pace and feel quite strong. I’m super pleased. Love this programme. Hoping to just consolidate (3x 30min runs) for the rest of December and perhaps see if I can naturally run further in the 30 mins. I’m amazed that in 10 weeks I can run! I still can’t believe it.

You are doing very well indeed Ceri1969, you are taking the advice of everyone here on C25K, especially Oldfloss, slow and steady, great that you managed 3K in 31 minutes, 😊gradually your pace will quicken to 4K in that time, so just be patient and most of all, enjoy your runs, best wishes for the season 🎄🎉🤶🎅

The plan is almost as amazing as the runner... great running.. 31 minutes is getting comfortable, would you have believed that in the summer? Keep up the great work.

Well done Ceri, keep up the good work. I tried Laura's Stepping Stones podcast. It's at the sort of pace I'm used to but for some reason I coldn't get into it and only ran for 20 minutes. I have 3 x 30 minute runs planned for this week and I'm just going to repeat week 9 for a few weeks and then move onto the podcast in the new year.

If you look for NHS couch to 5K (I have a iPhone but I think it's also available for android) there are 3 to choose from but Stepping Stones is the one for when you've finished C25K.
