Hi

Haven't posted for a while so just to let you know I am still going, still running 3 or 4 times a week and still doing it on my own. Up to 6k distance now so happy with that

Hope everyone is well and avoiding the IC.

hope you all have a lovely Christmas πŸŽ… and New year. 🍾🍷🍸🍻

Here's to a good 2019 for everyone ❀❀

Huge well done to you! Lots of folk on the IC, but all keeping positive I think, and posts like yours really help!

6K is a great distance... I reach that and feel I could run for ever...you will be moving on from there I feel sure:)

Glad to hear that you are still enjoying your running 3 or 4 times a week and increasing them to 6K. Glad to know that you are not on the IC, not a nice place to be, especially at this time of the year, which reminds me to wish you a very happy Christmas πŸŽ„πŸ€Άand a happy running New Year πŸŽ‰. 😊

Good to hear you're still running, 6k is good, especially in this weather πŸ™„. I too am still doing 3 runs a week. Doing 5k on a Tues then aiming for a long one every Fri which I try to increase each week, managed 8.4k yesterday! I then finish with a shorter one on a Sunday. Am thinking of entering a local 10k in the new year πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ definitely caught this running bug

8.4k that's impressive

Nice work getting up to 6. You’ll find a new love now you’ve got over week 9 I’m sure πŸ˜‚

I got off the IC yesterday... was getting bored

Have a great one.

Thankyou I think I prefer the solice ( not sure that's a word). Don't tell the need to share my wobble with other people lol

I think the word you’re looking for is solitude (rather than solace) - I also like it, though I enjoy my parkruns too :)

Sorry Arthur my bad

Not tried a park run yet

No apology needed, I was looking to help not criticise :) Do try a parkrun sometime. I like my solo runs but it’s both/and not either/or for me: the weekly predictability of parkrun helps with motivation at this time of year especially and it’s a very encouraging environment.
