Randomised the route again and started off faster for no obvious reason. I thought ‘You’ll have to slow down soon’ I probably did a bit, but completed the run absolutely fine. I feel as if I’ve maybe been slacking up to now, and I have more scope and stamina than I imagined!
Rather proud of myself actually, but recognise that I’m probably get a lot more out of controlling my enjoyment of this bit of speed and taking my runs deliberately slower than I feel I could. Sprints have got me in trouble before, so not keen on using them as a technique or whatever I don’t want to pull or strain anything. Suddenly I’m having too much fun with this running lark!

It feels good but as you say, sprints have got you into trouble, so best to stay away from them for the time being. The last thing you want is an injury so close to graduation. But really well done on the run and getting this far.
Fair comment! This lad is noted for being particularly opinionated! After I had him as a kitten I was told that that once he had left his mum, his brother and sister were able to develop personalities!
