I have been running for five years+ and I still feel that after every run. It is one of the most positive things I have ever done with exercise. Happy running

I genuinely hated cardio before doing this. It just didnt feel natural. Probably because of the weight i was. Im 5 stone lighter now and much more capable and confident. Im doing some form of cardio everyday aswell as my strength training which i have smashed out loads of pbs as of late. I was training with someone but finding my workouts are better on my own as of late.

Yay, pumpkin! It's fantastic when it starts to feel good, isn't it, instead of just something to be got through. Are you still on the treadmill? Imagine how good it will be in the spring when you can get outside. Keep going, you're doing great.

For now yes..come the spring time i will be doing parkruns. Then work on extemding my runs from there. I cant wait til I'm doing a full flowing run. Ive given myaelf plenty of time to prep for the gnr next year.

Sounds like you've got a plan. I found that really helps to keep me focused, but you don't seem to have trouble staying focused anyway. I didn't have any weight to lose, but one of my running buddies also commented that it got easier as the weight came off and the runs got longer. In the meantime you're staying warm and dry 😁
