Week 9... done! Don’t give up!

I done it, I done it, I done it!!!

9 weeks ago I could not run 60 seconds let alone 30 mins. Looking at people on here saying they done it and it seemed a long way away.

Even in weeks 4/5 when I was really struggling, it seemed so far away. But today. Goal scored/achieved/smashed.

Anyone in the early weeks and feel they can’t go on or want to stop don’t! It is achievable and you feel such a buzz when it’s done.

Remember why you started and remember why you doing it.

Today I became a Graduate with fantastic times too. 👨‍🎓🏃‍♂️

Good luck and have fun

Hi ButtercupKid, I read your recent post of about a hour ago and just as I was about to reply to you the screen went blank and the message came up "cannot send" so hopefully you will get this message.

You said that the after affects of your flu jag had gone and you got another run done, wonderful.

Remember last week I told you that today Sunday I was going to cheer on the runners at my local 5K Santa run, well I did, it was ran on the exact same course that I ran and got my PB 5K time of 33.40 on October 10, this time I just decided to be a spectator and cheered the runners on and spoke to some of the marshalls as well, a great day for the runners and spectators alike, one of the marshalls I spoke to will also be doing that at next Sunday's Glasgow 5K Santa Dash, today was the Cumbernauld 5K.I told her I would travel the 12 miles by bus and see the 8,000 taking part, that will be some run. Keep well and keep on running. 😊
