I am on the home straight today with just having done W9 run1. Did not begin to feel I was doing okay until about half way through the run (according to Laura), when my other app said 2.5 km completed! This made me feel a bit better and when I was told I had done 5km and Laura had not yet told me to start my warm down walk I let out a loud 'WOOP'. The end result a distance of 5.36km in a total of 40mins with split kilometre speeds of between 8.18 and 8.54km/h. Where did that come from! Well Laura has helped a bit, but just as important are the posts on this site.
Compared to some I have had it easy and reading of other's challenges has made me realise just how fortunate I am at the ripe young age of 71. So to all of you out, a very large thank you and a hope it all goes well with your next run. Don't miss out the rest days and obey Laura when she says stop running!
