Owning a dog makes you a better runner - the evidence!
I'm a cat person (in case you couldn't tell π) but my summer trail running partner has a border collie, Merle, that we call our trail master. I wouldn't say he makes our running easier, trying to squeeze between us on our narrow single track trails, but he did alert us to a couple moose that were in the coulee the last time we hit the trails. Those of you that are fortunate enough to have dogs that you can run with are in good company. runningmagazine.ca/trail-ru...
Even being a cat person, I might be a little envious of your running buddies. Running with my cats would be quite hilarious/frustrating/useless π
Yay! that's good to read. I don't often run with my dog, but I'm sure one if these days I'm going to trip over her - she has no sense of personal space whatsoever
No running with this dog....off to see everyone in sight; she would pull me over or have me turning back to get her every few yards! A good pal though...sure she is good for me for every other reasonπ
