Thank you so much to Laura and Rick Wakeman for getting me through this. First 5 mins was the toughest. Felt a little stiff legged so I thought even if I just get to 10 mins it’s more than I have run before. Then when Laura told me I was halfway there, l concentrated on my Rick Wakeman music 🎧 and before I knew Laura was telling me there was 2mins to go. I smashed those 2 mins. Woohoo 🙌😄👍🏃🏽♂️.
I have set a goal of a 5k Santa Run on 16 December. Even if I run for 30minutes and walk the rest I don’t care. It’s more than I dreamed possible 5 weeks ago

Thank you ladies. I’m enjoying every run so far. Slightly puzzled by w6 R1. With less running and with breaks, is it to consolidate or to build up speed? Or simply to prepare for the 25 minutes run?
