Well my fears were unfounded.... positively cruised through W5r1....no one more amazed than me 😀

Reckon no wine has something to do with it so abstaining again tonight....major struggle !

Also sticking to military diet apart from the breakfast which I replace with porridge and half banana...as regards weight loss it definitely seems to be working!

Week 5 is the best 👍

Well done you on your running journey and change of diet.

I've not touched a drop of wine in months.... No reason just don't fancy it... infact not bothered with alcohol full stop at the moment (jeez what's up with me?!)

Keep us posted on your week's 🏃💪

Yes have done no alcohol before and it definitely gets you more focused. Gentle day at gym today then W5r2 tomorrow .... early to bed tonight I think 😀

Great job Alan... you’re on this and the weight loss and look at you go... cruising it indeed!

I abstain from alcohol the night before a run... post run... well I have a glass of a very nice apple juice tonight, and I’ll have another later, it’s better than a couple every day, not to mention cheaper, and it tastes twice as good!

Enjoy run 2

I'm up for W5R2 tonight. My weight loss has halted since starting C25K, so interested to hear you mention the military diet. What's that?

Hi Amerynthe

Military diet you can google to get actual but basically it’s 3 days about 1150 calories a day then the remaining 4 days 1500 calories they claim it can take 10lb if you in a week but max I’ve had is about 7lb. It is pretty strict !

I’m in shock at moment as thought all week 5 would be same as W5r1 !! Just looked at W5r3 ..... argh !!!

Thanks, I'll have a little google on that. Yes - W5R3 is a bit of a shocker - I'm not looking forward to it, but I'll worry about that once I've managed W5R2 tonight!
