I’ve just finished reading Alexandra Heminsley’s “Running Like a Girl” which someone recommended on here - really enjoyed it ! Anyone suggest other good running-related books for rest days ?
Recommended reading ?: I’ve just finished... - Couch to 5K

Eat, Drink, Run by Bryony Gordon! X
Whenever I started running, a friend of mine with many marathons under her belt suggested *Run Fat Bitch Run* my husband bought it for me that year in lieu of an Easter egg, it’s a funny read and she takes you through her trials and tribulations as she started out!
I can't recommend any books like that, as enjoy a good Crime book myself.... But I'm loving these titles and am writing them down as I type!
Thank you!
Hey Buttercup 👋 hope you’re ok 👌
I can highly recommend:
"Born To Run" by Christopher McDougall
I’d like to thank Irish-John for recommending it a month or so ago. It has got to be the best book I’ve read all year. Incredibly inspiring and an awesome read for all runners.
Very glad you enjoyed it
Thanks everyone. I shall pester the local librarian - though I suspect she’ll blanch at the Ruth Field title !
