That's week 7 gone and the 4th straight 25 minute run. I've started to record the actual running element now as things progress and noticed that the stats are inconsistent and on the last first 2 runs the running graph was pretty straight but the latter 2 it was like a mountain range. It's quite interesting in a way watching it (for me anyway) as it helps with motivation and something else to concentrate on. Currently just under 2.5 miles per 25 mins of running so hopefully in 2 weeks I'll be very close to the magic 5k.
I got the runners wall thing I've heard about on R2 this week. It was pretty grim I ached everywhere and didn't want to do it (but I did) . From this one decided I'm a night runner or late afternoon at least even if I have time in the morning my body does not care for it.๐
Moving onwards my plan is to complete this and spend maybe a month or so trying to get consistent 5k runs without dying for oxygen at the end and my legs hating me.
I feel these longer runs are where you need the mental distractions and the support to get through but it's als where the benefits are starting to show.
