Completed W4R3 this morning along the river near my flat. Nice weather for it too - sunny and crisp! I'd say this was the hardest run of the week, but it didn't hurt half as much as previous "bad" runs I've had. I think the third run of each week is just always hardest for me, for some reason! Having said that, the first half was definitely a lot harder than the second; I found a steadier pace and settled into it more by the second 3 min stint. My tracking app tells me I covered more distance than usual and was faster too, although I'm conscious not to pay too much heed to that at this stage. Starting to think I really can do this! Bring on week 5, I hear there's a "widow-maker" lurking for me...well BRING IT I say 😜
Good luck everyone, whatever week you're facing!

Well done you. The time is flying by. Dal ati. week 5 next week. Get your running tunes ready. I think I'll space out the week so that the big third run is on a day after I've rested for 2 days. Like you I get so tired at the end of the week. Need to find a nice flat road to run it.
Thanks Ditzyjack! I was thinking that as well about the third one. It happens to fall on my birthday weekend so to get it right would be the best present ever! I want to do it feeling fresh and hydrated so will avoid the birthday drinks too until it's done. (That's the other thing about this programme - it makes me want to drink less alcohol! Can only be a good thing 😁) best of luck, keen to hear how you get on!
