Others who've done this run already will know this but it wasn't as bad as the gremlins in my head told me it would be! I mean it wasn't a doddle by any stretch and the first 5 min timecheck seemed to take forever to call but a great boost to hear the next timecheck at 12.5 mins being halfway and it was then I believed I may just do this the first time. Started flagging at 18, got tangled up in a dogs lead at 19 mins, kept going, heard the 1 minute to go call and 'push a bit if you can' and I did, I ran just that little bit faster. I actually felt like a runner rather than a very slow plodder for 60 secs! I can't say I enjoyed it as I just didn't know how I was going to cope or even finish so next run I'm going to worry less knowing I've done it once and I can do it again. Thanks for your encouragement as ever.

Totally get that sense of anxiety about increasing the pace. I’m just focusing on doing 30 mins next week x3. Can’t bother about the pace- Sir Mo can rest easy for another couple of weeks
