So just lately I’ve been running at night when I finish work, and it’s been dark and freezing but I think I’ve decided they are my ultimate conditions for running haha just completed week 3 run 3 and it’s the first time I’ve run in the day since wk1 and my days it was hard!! I wore too many layers for a start and I just generally felt like I couldn’t breathe. But it’s done... now onto the dreaded 5 min runs of week 4. Never made it to week 4 due to injury so fingers crossed 🤞xx
Week 3! : So just lately I’ve been running at... - Couch to 5K
Week 3!

I’ve just finished week 4 and really surprised myself: the 5 min runs were actually fine! Just remember to pace yourself: go really slowly. The plan really works!!
I prefer nights. Not so many people about and normally quieter. Week 4 you will breeze through. Take it slow and breathe easy! Good luck

Well done 😃👍. Just keep going very slowly and you’ll nail these sessions. There’s s no hurry at all 🙂

Well done! I prefer daytime running (pm/teatime) but even that's getting dark, or is dark, when I get back now. I've wondered every week if I'm going to manage the next step up and am constantly surprised I do, not easily, but I do complete it on first go. Just follow the advice of slow and steady, you'll feel amazing once you've done that week.

Good job. Don’t fear week 4... you’re ready!

Try a wicking top...I wear an Icebreaker long sleeved top, then thin bright yellow half zip top then my sleeveless gilet as I’m running early morning in about 4°C. Long leggings, good socks and trainers....
