Morning all, I am at W6R2 but have developed a nasty head cold. I ran 3 days ago but am pretty sure that contributed to a mild cold/sore throat turning into a full blown (excuse the pun) cold.
My guess is I won’t run for about a week altogether. If anyone else has stalled in the same way, please can you tell me how much of a setback it was, e.g. should I start again 2 or 3 runs back or should I just try to pick up where I left off?

Get better and then just head out where you left off.. slow and steady.
Many of us re suffering from the seasonal lurginess that is prevalent at this time of year and it is important to feel on from for your running.
Head out gently when you are feeling better. Until then, plenty of liquids, stay warm, maybe a walk or two.. and maybe, also, a little light retail running therapy
If you hurt below the neck don’t exercise. If you hurt above the neck then take it slow, wrap up and take some nice walks to keep you moving until you are ready to run. You will know when you are ready as you will actually start itching to get going again. Lol can’t believe I just said that but you do miss it once you have the habit. Get well soon. Loads of vitamin c and echinacea.
