Whiskey! But then that just stops you caring about having it. 😂
Nothing really, just lots of rest.

If you've had it for weeks it's probably not a cold any longer but a secondary infection. I'm afraid it's all the sensible advice of looking after yourself, eating and drinking healthily etc. Get plenty of sleep. Ibuprofen for aching limbs. Zinc and vitamin C may help. Maybe avoiding dairy products will help you feel less clogged up. If that doesn't work you may need antibiotics for a bacterial infection. If it's a virus though you'll just have to hang in there. Hope you feel better soon 🤧
I have a cold too, it started the day after run 2 week 1.
So annoying.
Years ago when I was cycling everyday I ignored a cold and the hard breathing seemed to help the bugs get deep into my lungs so I would not consider any running until 100 percent better.

If you’re a fresher student and you’ve had flu-like symptoms for a while, I’d see a medic. Could be glandular fever, which is very common in your age group. Hope you’re back on your feet very soon x
