W5R2 - I had a few misgivings before I started this today because I’d missed a couple more days since R1 than I’d planned.
But it has gone very pleasantly well - my longest continual run since 199*, I think!
R3 here I come - on Monday, all being well.
One thing I worked out today - laid back jazz is more helpful running music than Sam Sweeney’s lovely new album of fiddle music, which proved a bit too speedy a pace! I would recommend his playing though for those who enjoy English folk fiddle music - but not in this context!

The Unfinished Violin - released today. Poignant back-story too, about his instrument, which he was introduced to by an Oxford violin maker who had acquired it in pieces in a brown envelope. It was the last instrument prepared by a maker who joined up to serve in WW1 and, like so many others, never came back. It inspired a previous album called ‘Made in the Great War’
Nope... usually I’m metal orientated but I do love live music of all types. Not sure why I have a Kerfuffle album, probably saw them at a pub sometime! I’ll check anything out of course... so now I’ll look him up too
