Aches in left Achilles felt ok and enjoying the first 3 minute run. Come on Laura, I must have done 2 minutes now!Apparently not so keep running. Achilles fine. Still no Laura😩. Keep running then check phone: Laura paused! No idea how long I’d been running maybe extra 2 minutes but carried on where it had paused from but got to a really steep bit of the road and OUCH, right, previously pain free calf shot through with pain. Was nearly at a walk break so carried on semi limping. At bell turned back and pain lessened but was way out on distance and must have walked for an extra 5 mins before home . Going shopping for some better trainers as feels like my foot swivels a little round the ankle even though they are decent Nike ones but ancient and probably just generic rather than running. Lungs felt good. Calf felt painful, thighs a bit heavy. Must learn to lock phone and hope rest day sorts me out!

Roll and massage that calf, really well, and do some calf exercises too...if there is real pain.. don't run through it... :)
