Sometimes I just need a swift kick up the backside! over the last week, I have had a niggling pain in my left knee on the medial side (the one on the inner side of my leg) then on Tuesday, after such a fab run, my left calf & Achilles tendon started whinging too. Oh flipping heck, I thought, the injury couch beckons but then, ta-da!! I remembered that I am a sports masseur & then I thought "what would I do if a client came with the same problem". Long story short - I assessed my leg, massaged my left quads & the pain in my knee improved. I then popped out this morning to buy a new electrical hand massager & treated my whole left leg, stretched all the muscles & voila!! A new me Having an extra rest day today & will be out tomorrow. Happy running everyone xx
